Israel’s shelling of Gaza is clearly a war crime as it is a cowardly attack on defenceless civilians with no military purpose. America’s veto of the United Nation’s motion for Israel to cease fire makes America complicit in that war crime and America’s supply of arms to Israel compounds its criminality.

Podcasts on Youtube are rarely pro-Israel with Israel’s lies being repeatedly exposed. Israel can produce no evidence that a single Israeli woman was raped or that a single baby was beheaded by Hamas. These lies continue to be promoted by the Murdoch media and its mercenary lackeys. The contrary evidence that Israeli soldiers are raping and murdering Palestinians is overwhelming and these crimes have been going on unabated and unpublicised since 1948.

Australia could help to bring this war to an end by making it clear to American authorities that Australia opposes it. Australia is known to be a gutless toady of America so its opposition to the war would have enormous effect on world opinion.

The longer this war continues, the more likely it is that the state of Israel will cease to exist.
