The purpose of this Blog-site is to put forward information on scientific, medical and current affairs matters.
The problem with most sites such as Facebook is that information that does not suit certain interests can be censored. It is claimed that this censorship is to prevent the spread of “misinformation”. But “misinformation” is anything that the censor disagrees with and hence censorship is a curb on freedom of speech.
We all want our opinions to be publicised and opposite opinions to be suppressed but such enforcement on a national scale leads to tyranny. Only by free expression and the blowtorch of criticism can the true situation be found.
This Blog-site welcomes criticism and dissent but will not allow malice or hatred to be promoted.
Another purpose of this site is to promote the publication and sale of books written by the author.

David Corbett
David Corbett graduated in Medicine from Melbourne
University in 1964. He subsequently trained as a specialist
Anaesthetist. He has spent one year in the United States, one
year in Saudi Arabia and many years in city and rural hospitals
in Australia in that specialty.
He has also gained qualifications in accounting, finance and
investment and has a diploma from the Institute of Company
Directors. He has a continued interest in mathematics and
physics as well as studying Electronic engineering for four
years part time. He was also a Councillor on the Essendon City
Council for three years.
